Web applications engineered to stay fast as you grow
Most web applications are fast on the developer's laptop with fifty records. We build for the version with two hundred thousand records, four hundred concurrent users, and a network that is not fibre.

- Sub-two-second loads on mid-range devices over mobile networks
- Regressions caught in CI rather than reported by customers
- Production issues diagnosable from logs and traces, not guesswork
The problem we hear most, and how we solve it
If this sounds like your business, you're in good company. Here's what changes when we work together.
The problem
Applications rarely fail all at once. They degrade: a dashboard that took half a second now takes nine, a report times out at month-end, the search box becomes unusable once the catalogue passes a certain size. By the time it is obvious, the architecture that caused it is load-bearing and expensive to change.
What we do about it
We build web applications with performance treated as a requirement rather than a later optimisation — query plans reviewed, pagination designed in, caching layers placed deliberately, and payloads kept small. Security follows the same principle: authentication, authorisation and input validation are architectural decisions, not a checklist at the end.
How we can help with Web Application Development
Performance budgets in CI
Bundle size and Core Web Vitals thresholds are enforced on every pull request. A regression fails the build instead of reaching your users.
Server rendering where it counts
Content renders on the server for speed and search visibility; interactivity hydrates only where it is actually needed.
Considered caching
Response, query and CDN caching placed where the profiling says it belongs, with explicit invalidation so nobody sees stale data.
Security by design
Parameterised queries, output encoding, CSRF protection, rate limiting and a strict content security policy — applied from the first commit.
Observability from day one
Structured logging, distributed tracing and error alerting, so diagnosing a production issue takes minutes rather than a morning.
Accessible interfaces
Keyboard navigation, screen-reader semantics and contrast ratios verified against WCAG 2.2 AA — not retrofitted after an audit.
Everything you need, handed over properly
No vague promises. Here's what you can expect to have when the work is done.
Tools & technologies we use
- Next.js
- React
- TypeScript
- ASP.NET Core
- Node.js
- PostgreSQL
- Redis
- Docker
- Sub-two-second loads on mid-range devices over mobile networks
- Regressions caught in CI rather than reported by customers
- Production issues diagnosable from logs and traces, not guesswork
- Headroom for growth without re-platforming in eighteen months
- Search visibility from genuine server-rendered HTML
A clear process, with no surprises
Server-rendered where it helps time-to-first-byte, client-side where interactivity demands it, and a clear boundary between the two. We set performance budgets during design and enforce them in CI, so a regression is caught in a pull request rather than in production. Observability — structured logs, traces, error tracking — ships with version one.

Scale Up
See how managed technology can set you up for success and continue growing your business. If not, we'll happily refund your investment.
An application that loads quickly on a mid-range phone over mobile data, that you can reason about when something goes wrong, and that has room to grow without a rewrite.
What every client can count on
Say the difficult thing early
If an approach is wrong, a date is at risk, or the feature you asked for will not solve the problem, you hear it while there is still time to act. Comfortable silence is the most expensive thing in software.
Build it to be maintained
The code we write will be read far more often than it was written, frequently by someone else. Clarity beats cleverness in every case where the two conflict.
Measure what we claim
Faster, better and more reliable are only meaningful with a baseline and a number after. We agree the measurement before starting the work.
Leave you independent
Documentation, handover and code quality are aimed at a client who could take the system entirely in-house. Retention through lock-in is not a business we want.
Questions clients usually ask
Most often Next.js and TypeScript on the front end with either .NET or Node.js behind it, over PostgreSQL or SQL Server. We choose per project — the deciding factors are your existing systems, your team's ability to maintain it, and what the workload actually demands.
Yes. We start with a two-week audit covering architecture, dependency health, security posture, test coverage and the highest-risk areas. You get a written assessment and a prioritised plan before committing to any development work.
Load testing during development establishes where the ceiling actually is, then autoscaling, connection pooling and caching are configured against that number. We would rather tell you the system handles 900 concurrent users than promise it handles 'a lot'.
Where it earns its place. Offline capability and installability are genuinely valuable for field teams and shop-floor use, and unnecessary overhead for an internal admin tool. We will tell you which case you are in.
